Rugby World Cup winning Coach
Bob Dwyer coached the Wallabies to Rugby World Cup glory in 1991.
During his time as the Australian Head Coach, the Wallabies won 49 of their 74 Tests. His strike rate (70%) makes him one of the most successful coaches in Australian rugby history. Bob is well known and respected in every rugby playing nation.
In 2003, Bob was Awarded a Centenary Medal by the Australian Government for his services to rugby union and an Order of Australia the following year for his contribution to sport and the community.
In 2011, Bob was inducted in to the IRB Hall of Fame alongside all other RWC winning Coaches and Captains. Bob is also a member of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame.
These days Bob is the Founder and Managing Director of Bob Dwyer’s Rugby Workshops PL that offer online and in-situ rugby camps and coaches workshops for all levels of the game, from junior to international, in all parts of the world.
