Bryan Fletcher

NRL Funny Man

Bryan Fletcher fondly known as ‘Fletch’ is a league legend who won the 2002 NRL Grand Final with the Sydney Rooster. Bryan played a total of 235 NRL games, 14 games for the NSW Blues in State of Origin and 14 Tests for Australia.

Bryan enjoyed great success with the NSW Blues. The highlight was his involvement in the 2000 NSW Blues State of Origin Series 3-0 clean sweep of Queensland and another Series victory in 2003.

Bryan is known as a larrikin with a quick wit. This was demonstrated infamously when he celebrated by pretending to use the football as a hand-grenade after scoring a try in State of Origin Game 3 in 2000.

In retirement, Bryan has continued to harness his incredible wit. Bryan features on Sunday Night with Matty Johns and The Late Show with Matty Johns after Thursday Night League. Both will feature his hilarious ‘Fletch & Hindy’ segments with great mate, Nathan Hindmarsh.

Adding to his Fox Sports duties, Bryan in 2021 is co-hosting 1170 SEN Sydney drive show 3-6pm Monday to Friday with Joel Caine.
