Keynote Talks include:

AI, the Metaverse and the future of Humanity

With the release of Generative AI in November 2022, the world changed forever.

Technology’s intelligence and consciousness is advancing at a rate faster than humanity’s and we must now ask the following questions:

Who is guiding technology and its relationship to humanity?

Where are we headed?

Are we okay to passively continue with AI development knowing that it poses an existential risk, on par with nuclear war and pandemics?

And … given there are no real laws or regulations that govern AI – should we pause, take a breath and figure out what we are doing?

And just as we are getting our heads around this powerful AI technology we are only a very short time away from Extended Reality and Metaverse technologies becoming mainstream.

In this important and highly topical keynote address, Dr Catriona Wallace will discuss: humanity entering into the early stages of transhumanism; the power and invasiveness of AI and Metaverse worlds – the good and the bad; technology ethics and responsibility; as well as the various ways that humanity may become more conscious – and suggest how we may direct technology for humanity’s good.

Ideas and strategies explored in the talk include:

AI and the Metaverse – what are they? Good or bad?

The age of Transhumanism

Technology vs human intelligence and consciousness

Psychedelics for Leaders

The Psychedelic Renaissance has become a popular topic on contemporary podcasts, TV shows, movies and other mediums.

And… Australia has approved the use of MDMA and Psilocybin in therapeutic use and many other countries are reviewing their previous hard stance on the use of plant and natural psychoactive medicines and either decriminalising or legalising usage.

Right now, many non-indigenous people are turning to Indigenous medicine guides, Maestros, Curanderos, Marakames, Paqos and Shamans to learn about traditional plant medicines such as ayahuasca, Bufo Alvarius, San Pedro, Peyote and others.

Why now? And what does this medicine and its ancient wisdom have to offer?

In this highly topical talk, Dr Catriona Wallace, an AI and technology ethicist and also a trained and initiated plant medicine guide, will discuss the role that psychedelics may play, beyond just being a healing modality, to being a truly transformative process for leaders.

In this talk the audience will learn about:

The history of plant medicine based psychedelics

The chemistry of plant medicine based psychedelics

The importance of Indigenous lineage, traditions and ritual

The goals that leaders might have that psychedelic medicine can assist with

What leaders might expect from a psychedelic journey

How to develop an Ectasis Calendar for transformation
