Jude Bolton

Premiership Legend

Jude Bolton is a Sydney Swans legend. He played 325 games scoring 196 goals between 1999 and 2013. Jude won two Premierships with the Swans in 2005 and 2012.

Drafted by the Swans in the 1998 National Draft, Jude made his AFL debut in round 12 of the 1999 season. As his career progressed, he became renowned as an โ€œinsideโ€ midfielder, throwing himself at the ball, or the man with the ball, at every opportunity. Tackling in particular became a feature of his game. Jude cemented himself as a regular star of the Sydney Swans over the next 13 seasons.

Jude was an integral member of the Swans’ drought-breaking 2005 premiership team and was named in Sydney’s best players in the Grand Final. He enjoyed further success when he was a key player in the Swans 2012 Premiership victory against the well fancied Hawthorn side.

Since Judeโ€™s retirement heโ€™s been busy in the media working for Channel 7, MMM and ESPN. In December 2013 Jude was a crew member aboard racing supermaxi yacht Perpetual Loyal in the 2013ย Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race with his other celebrity crew members,ย Karl Stefanovic,ย Larry Emdur,ย Tom Slingsby,ย Phil Waugh andย Guillaume Brahimi. He also appeared as a contestant on the fifteenth season of Dancing with the Stars.
