Paul Clitheroe is a founding director of leading financial planning firm ipac and has been involved in the investment industry since he graduated from the University of New South Wales in the late 1970s.

From 1993 to 2002 Paul hosted the popular Channel 9 program Money. Since 1999 he has been the chairman and chief commentator of Money magazine. He writes personal finance columns for metropolitan, suburban and regional newspapers across Australia and presents Talking Money on radio nationally. Paul has been a media commentator and conference speaker for more than 30 years and is regarded as one of Australia’s leading experts in the field of personal investment strategies and advice.

In 2003, the federal government appointed Paul Chairman of the Financial Literacy Taskforce. That body has since evolved into the Australian Government Financial Literacy Board, and Paul continues as Chairman.

In 2008, Paul was appointed a Member of the Order of Australia (AM) for service to the community and the financial sector through the promotion of financial literacy.
