Roni Millard is a powerhouse across business and wellbeing, with a 30-year executive career spanning marketing, sales and transformation across global brands. Recognised as a Top 50 Australia Chief Marketing Officer, she understands firsthand the pressure, pace and politics of high-performance environments.
She has also been featured in the Australian Financial Review for her perspective on the “Executive Health Trap,” highlighting the hidden cost of sustained high performance and the impact it can have on leaders’ health and wellbeing.
Roni is the founder of The Wellbeing Edge, a wellness and performance consultancy partnering with organisations to embed health, psychological safety and sustainable performance into leadership culture. Through keynote speaking, executive workshops, strategic wellbeing programs and NLP-based coaching, she helps businesses prioritise the health of their people without compromising ambition.
She is a strong advocate for high performance, but never at the expense of wellbeing. Her philosophy centres on being positively obsessed with health while still achieving big.
After decades of corporate success, Roni’s body began signaling that her relentless pace was unsustainable. She navigated endometriosis twice, miscarriages, osteoporosis, anemia and multiple chronic health challenges, all while continuing to perform at a senior level. Burnout eventually culminated in a breast cancer diagnosis, forcing her to pause, reflect and rebuild.
Alongside these health challenges, Roni also experienced environments of psychological unsafety, cultures where fear, silence or performance pressure suppressed open dialogue. These experiences now inform her deep understanding of how toxic dynamics quietly erode confidence, wellbeing and performance. They have strengthened her commitment to helping leaders build cultures where people feel safe to contribute, challenge and thrive.
From these lived experiences, Roni emerged with a clear mission: to teach high-performing professionals how to honour their ambition without abandoning their wellbeing, and to equip leaders with the tools to create psychologically safe, high-accountability workplaces.
Now the healthiest and strongest she has ever been, Roni coaches executives, particularly women navigating high-performance roles, and delivers compelling keynotes and transformative workshops on burnout prevention, psychological safety, emotional resilience and redefining success in modern leadership.
Roni also serves as a mentor with the Women’s Resilience Centre, supporting women rebuilding their lives after domestic violence. Drawing on her own experience of trauma recovery through illness, she helps women strengthen resilience, reclaim confidence and create pathways to sustainable independence.
In addition, she sits on the Business Women Australia Marketing Sub-Committee, focused on growing membership and elevating the powerful stories within the BWA community.
Beyond her professional work, Roni is a proud mum of three, devoted wife and dog lover. She grounds herself through movement, whether running, strength training or pushing herself in races, and draws energy from her close-knit circle of family and friends.
