Rugby World Cup Champion

Daniel Herbert played 67 Tests for the Wallabies and was an integral member of the all-conquering Australian team that enjoyed a golden run winning every trophy on offer in the late 90’s early 2000’s. Daniel’s career highlight was winning the 1999 Rugby World Cup in France. Daniel was named in the ‘Team of the World Cup 1999’ alongside his centre partner Tim Horan. Daniel was also awarded the coveted International Player of the Year Award in 1999.

In 2001, Daniel was promoted to Vice Captain of the Wallabies and in that same year scored a brace of tries in the third and deciding British and Irish Lions Test to help the Wallabies claim their first ever series victory over the Lions. Other key victories include winning the Tri-Nations and five consecutive Bledisloe Cups. Daniel also amassed 124 caps for the Queensland Reds and was a long standing Captain of the team.

In recent times, Daniel served as the Chief Commercial Officer and then the Executive General Manager of the QLD Reds. He is currently the Chief Executive Office of SSKB Strata Managers and a Board Member of Rugby Australia (RA).
