Dean Boxall is an Australian swimming super coach responsible for the exhilarating performances of Ariarne Titmus and her rise to the top of the world swimming ranks.

Dean is the mastermind behind Ariarne Titmus’s historic triumphs and Mollie O’Callaghan’s meteoric rise in world swimming. As the Head Coach at St Peters Western Swim Club in Brisbane, he has transformed that facility into one of the most elite training programs in the world.

Under Dean’s guidance, Ariarne Titmus achieved remarkable success at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, winning gold in both the 200m and 400m freestyle events – with her victory over Katie Ledecky in the 400m becoming one of the Games’ defining moments. His passionate poolside celebration during this race captured global attention.
His impact reached new heights at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, with a record-breaking 10 swimmers on the Australian team bringing home 18 medals, including 9 gold medals – one-third of Australia’s total medal haul.

A master of technique and race strategy, Dean has developed a unique coaching philosophy that combines technical excellence with mental fortitude. Beyond his technical expertise, Dean is an engaging speaker who shares powerful insights about leadership performance culture and bringing out the best in others. His presentations draw on his experience of building champions and creating environments where excellence thrives.
