Over 100 Tests for Wallabies
Nathan Sharpe is a former Wallabies Captain and one of our most decorated legends. When Nathan retired as Captain of the Wallabies in 2012 he was Australia’s most-capped forward with 116 Tests and the second most-capped player ever. Nathan played in three Rugby World Cup campaigns.
In his final year of international rugby in 2012, he was awarded, for the second time, the prestigious John Eales Medal, for Wallaby Player of the Year. He first was awarded the Medal in 2007. Â
Since 2013, Nathan has been active in the media as a rugby commentator with Fox Sports and now Network Ten.
These days Nathan is now actively involved with SES Labour Solutions in the Resource and Construction sector supplying staffing solutions to the mining, oil, gas and construction sectors throughout Australia. Nathan is also WA Patron of the Ronald McDonald’s Family Retreats and an ambassador for Volvo Car Group and Samsung.
