Sarah Duffy has hosted countless events while working in media and entertainment for more than a decade.

A freelance TV presenter, executive producer, content producer, voice-over artist, writer, and event host/MC. Growing up being involved in different sports like; Tennis, Soccer, Basketball, AFL, Surfing, Snowboarding, and Cricket, she’s an avid sports fan and loves to be involved in sporting events.

Sarah’s presenting career started in 2009 with her first role being for Mt Buller as the Channel Seven Melbourne Mt Buller Snow Reporter for the Thursday night news with David Brown. This position also Included being the Online Snow Reporter/Presenter for the mtbuller.com.au website, and the Radio Snow Reporter/Presenter. 

For over 6 years she was a TV Traffic Reporter for Sunrise on 7, and Seven Afternoon News Melbourne. On occasion for Ten News at 5pm, The Today Show on 9, and 9 News Melbourne.

Entertainment Reporter for many brands for new release movies, red carpets, entertainment segments, and much more and has interviewed stars on the red carpet for Yahoo7 at film launches including Hugo Weaving and Liam Hemsworth, and presented and produced reports for the ACE Radio Network.

In the 2018 and 2019 Australian snow seasons, Sarah returned to Mt Buller in a newly created role that had grown over the nine years since she first took it on back in 2009, and reprised the role of Mt Buller Snow Reporter, but this time including a TV Producing and Digital Content Produce role.

Sarah loves the opportunity to travel and is happy to go wherever her work takes her. A former Snowboard Instructor who has done 10 snow seasons here in Australia and overseas, if you want to know what it’s like to hike Base Camp of Mt Everest, swim with great white sharks, bungee jump, skydive, come face to face with a Cheetah, go jet boating, go on a submarine, fly in a helicopter, or climb glaciers in New Zealand or Canada, Sarah is the one to ask. She has lived in and travelled to some of the world’s most beautiful places including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, America, Europe, Malaysia, Thailand, Fiji, and more.
 
Sarah holds two degrees, a Graduate Diploma in Commercial Radio Broadcasting and a Master’s in Media and Communications, and many short courses; Meteorology at BOM Melbourne, TV and Radio, writing, and producing etc.
 
With her keen interest in running she has enjoyed participating in and helping raise charitable funds for; Run For The Kids, The Mothers Day Classic, Fred Hollows Foundation, Run To The G, Run Melbourne, Relay For Life, and Woman’s Fun Run, to name a few. Sarah gives time to charity and causes close to her heart such as; The Royal Children’s Hospital, Donate Life, Australian Red Cross Blood Service, and supports the Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal.
 

Her Event Hosting/MC work has seen her in roles with Essendon Football Club as a Match Day Host/MC presenting the formalities at the MCG or Marvel Stadium live on the big screen, in front of crowds of 30-60,000 people. She’s worked for Cricket Australia in their corporate hospitality rooms of 200+ people for The Ashes Boxing Day Test Cricket, conducting special guest interviews, presenting competitions, and entertaining guests. Travelled around Australia with Spartan Race AUS/NZ as a Presenter/MC for their epic obstacle endurance course races, carrying out interviews, and hosting the start and finish line entertainment. And worked for Carlton Football Club for the 2022-2023 AFL Footy Season entertaining guests in their Members Legends Lounge at the MCG and Marvel Stadium for all Home Games for the season, interviewing current players, coaches, and Club Legends, and bringing fun, and excitement to the weekly raffle draw.

After many years, Sarah has not just hosted sporting events, but conferences, luncheons, charity events, award ceremonies, fun-runs, family events, university open days, music festivals and the list goes on. Every event is different and so are the topics, from travel, fashion, weather, sport, technology, movies, education, entrepreneurship, music, food, medical, entertainment, news, events, and so much more.
