Shane Jacobson is an award-winning actor and presenter.

Shane’s television credits include The Time of our Lives, Jack Irish: Bad Debts, Jack Irish: Black Time, The Mystery of a Hansom Cab, Beaconsfield, Top Gear Australia, Kenny’s World and The Great Australian Bake Off.

In 2006 Shane starred as Kenny Smyth in a film he co-wrote with his brother, also the film’s director Clayton Jacobson. Kenny won the heats of Australians and for his role he won a swag of awards including the AFI award for Best Lead Actor in a Lead Role.

Shane’s film credits include Hollywood Blockbuster The Bourne Legacy, Newcastle, Cactus, Charlie & Boots, Mordy Koots, Surviving Georgia and in Santa’s Apprentice he appeared as the voice of Santa.

On stage, Shane performed the Melbourne and Sydney season of the 2008 revival of the classic musical Guys and Dolls for which he won a Helpmann award – Best Male actor in a Supporting Role.

Shane has recently penned his autobiography called A Long night to overnight success which has been published by Harper Collins and ABC Books.
